Rock To Save Darfur: Open for Immortal Technique at Benefit Event

Rock To Save Darfur is a non-profit 501-(c)3 organization which strives to free slaves, educate children, and save lives in Darfur. Thanks to the dedication and support of Rock To Save Darfur, they have liberated over two hundred slaves and offered hundreds of donations ranging from insecticide-treated mosquito nets to school supplies, medicines and clothing.



Rock To Save Darfur is now accepting submissions for an opening artist at their annual benefit concert held each year at the famous B.B. Kings Blues Club in Times Square NYC. This year the event will be headlined by the nationally recognized rap artist Immortal Technique. Past headliners have included Talib Kweli and George Clinton & P-Funk. One Sonicbids artist will be chosen to perform as an opener for Immortal Technique. All genres are welcome to submit, but they are especially interested in hip hop influenced artists. Compensation is a flat fee of $500



Proceeds from this event will be donated to Save The Children, Save Darfur and other organizations dedicated to ending the genocide and slavery in the Sudan. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to perform alongside Immortal technique at a benefit concert with a wonderful cause.
