Summary

The Songwriter Showcase is a nationally recognized
Songwriter competition, open to solo performers who write and perform original music, and who are not currently signed to a major recording or publishing deal. Contestants are judged on the quality of the song’s composition, vocal delivery, and overall performance. Ten songwriter finalists are selected to perform on the main stage at the Festival in Lyons, CO on August 18-20 where they are judged by a panel of industry professionals and awarded cash, prizes, critical acclaim, well deserved recognition, and a chance to perform a set on the Festival main stage the following year!

There are up to 10 showcase slots available. Past performers include Erica Wheeler, Don Conoscenti, Karen Pernick, Deb Talan, Dan Sheridan, Dee Carstensen and many others.

This year's Festival performers include Ani DiFranco, Kathleen Edwards, Billy Jonas and many more.
