Summary

Ropeadope and Banzai88 are looking for emerging artists to join the Collective of the established Ropeadope indie label (since 1999) and web destination for music lovers. Two Sonicbids artists will be selected by the Collective and will receive features on Ropeadope's main blog, their social networking pages that reach over 50,000 fans, Ropeadope Radio airplay and much more./n/nRopeadope and Banzai are looking for emerging artists to join the Ropeadope Music Collective AND the Banzai merchandise roster.


Two Sonicbids artists will be selected
by the Collective and receive the following promotion and support:



  • Features on Ropeadope's main blog and across all Ropeadope social network pages, reaching over 50,000 fans.

  • Ropeadope Radio airplay.

  • Selected artists may be offered a digital release record contract. Ropeadope's most recent Sonicbids selection, Buddhuza, will release their album in June 2010. Other Sonicbids bands signing with Ropeadope include La Otrabanda, Double Helix, and Snoblind.

WHAT ABOUT THE FREE MERCH?!?

Good question! One of the selected artists will receive the free Banzai merch package, including 48 shirts and 250 stickers. And as an added bonus for your submission fee, all submitting artists will receive 15% off of their next Banzai merch order. A great opportunity for artists who are already selling merch.

ACCEPTED GENRES: Indie rock, jazz, hip-hop, folk, country, bluegrass, electronic, soul, R&B, and Americana. Submissions will be reviewed by Ropeadope's President and A&R. To be considered for label distribution, artists must be a committed touring band.
