Perform at the world’s largest rowing regatta and one of Boston’s top signature events. The Head Of The Charles® Regatta draws over 250,000 spectators to the banks of the Charles River every next to last weekend in October. The Head Of The Charles Regatta is pleased to announce the third annual Row-A-Palooza, a two-day, outdoor music festival featuring 12 bands on a 40 foot sound stage and 6 live music sets per day. Play at Row-A-Palooza and reach out to over 10,000 spectators per day and students from over 100 New England area colleges.

The festival celebrates diversity in music and encourages local, regional and national performers in any genre to submit online through Sonicbids! The last two year’s Row-A-Palooza headliners were The All American Rejects and Gavin DeGraw. Other Row-A-Palooza performers have included Melodrome, Toby Lightman, Zox, illScarlett, Unbusted3, Tempting Fate Revue, Sucka Brown, Toussaint & The China Band, III Kings, The Kin and the J. Henry Band.

This year’s Row-A-Palooza, presented by Nautica Jeans Company, will be held from 11am-4pm on October 21 & 22, 2006. It will be located by the Weeks Footbridge and Memorial Drive (Cambridge side), just steps away from Harvard and Central Square, which are both on the MBTA’s Red Line. With great live music, a variety of food vendors and corporate sponsorship, the festival will continue to be a main attraction at Head Of The Charles Regatta and a premiere fall destination.

Please Note: There is no monetary compensation for performers; however the crowd exposure at this event is invaluable.
