ruKus - The Festival 2011

ruKus is an independent music and arts festival being held in downtown Youngstown, Ohio on September 24, 2011. This year, it will be celebrating the release of Rust Belt Brewing's ruKus - the Ale and is looking for solo artists and bands to perform live in order to help celebrate. Over 50 artists perform at the festival each year, on one of the 5 festival stages for over 3000 people. The festival accepts a wide variety of genres. Here’s what selected artists get:

• Artists will receive a huge amount of exposure and promotion.



• Reasonable travel stipend and accommodations provided, depending on distance of travel (determined on a case-by-case basis).



• A sound system and a sound engineer will be provided at the venue, but artists are responsible for bringing their own instruments and any additional equipment.
