Summary

This is the LAST CHANCE to submit to RunHundred, which catalogs the tempo of new music to help folks find great up-tempo music to exercise to. They are creating a new compilation series for indie artists which will be available in Spring '10 and sold via major online retailers.

Songs selected for the compilation will be posted to the site alongside then site's regular features, to help market both the album and band. All bands featured will be able to purchase copies of the discs at cost. If there are enough submissions, the project may be filled exclusively with Sonicbids bands./n/nRunHundred.com catalogs the BPM (tempo) of most new releases to help folks find songs that will match their pace for running, biking, and working out. Their readers have consistently asked for more music that they don't hear on the radio, so Run Hundred is launching a series of compilation CDs that will compile the best new up-tempo independent music.



The first compilation is scheduled for release in Spring 2010. It will be sold primarily through RunHundred.com, but will also be available through the major online and download sites--Amazon, iTunes, etc. Should demand warrant, it my become available for physical distribution as well.

All genres are accepted, but it's important that the song is up-tempo and easy to jog, run, bike, or exercise to. If there are enough submissions, the project may be filled exclusively with Sonicbids bands. Songs that won't fit on the disc will still be considered for RunHundred's workout mixes, playlists, and general coverage. In all, if there's a way to showcase your song within the context of the site, they'll try to find it.



RunHundred has been in business for 13 years. Their highest profile project was an East Timor Benefit album featuring Over The Rhine, Smoking Popes, Self, and more that benefited Oxfam.
