Salsa Sensations - Jingle Challenge

Salsa Sensations is looking for a creative, catchy jingle for its sensational salsa.

• Exposure, as the finalist's videos will be re-posted on the Salsa Sensations Facebook Fan Page and on the Salsa Sensations YouTube Channel./n/nSalsa Sensations is looking for a creative, catchy jingle for its sensational salsa. Available in three flavors: mild, medium and hot, Salsa Sensations is flavorful and fresh and is available exclusively in local Wal-Marts in the refrigerated dairy section. Salsa Sensations invites musicians and bands to come up with the perfect jingle to represent the brand's spicy image.
  
  
  
  Along with your EPK, artists are asked to submit a YouTube video that utilizes a song suitable for this opportunity.
  
  
  
  Submitted songs must creatively incorporate the following four words in any order:
  
  
  
  1. Salsa Sensations
  
  
  2. Fresh
  
  
  3. Wal-Mart
  
  
  4. Spicy

  • The winning musician or band will get $2,000 cash.
  
  
  • Studio time to record a professional version of the winning jingle.

  At least three finalists will be announced on Monday, February 28, 2011. Public voting for the videos on the Salsa Sensations sites (listed above) will be open from Monday, February 28, 2011 until Sunday, March 6, 2011. The Finalist with the most video likes, comments and plays on both Salsa Sensations Facebook Fan Page and on their YouTube video, will win! Comments, plays and likes will be totaled between both Facebook and YouTube by the Salsa Sensations selection committee. The winner will be announced on March 7, 2011.
  
  
  
  How the winner will be chosen:
  
  

  The finalist's jingles will be chosen based on song and video creativity and brand relevancy, use of four key words and use of Salsa Sensations brand salsa in video. The winning jingle will be chosen based on a public vote: including a combination of likes, plays and comments on both the Salsa Sensations Facebook Fan Page and the Entrant's YouTube video on the Salsa Sensations YouTube channel.
