Available in three flavors: mild, medium and hot, Salsa Sensations is flavorful and fresh and is available exclusively in local Wal-Marts in the refrigerated dairy section. Salsa Sensations invites musicians and bands to come up with the perfect jingle to represent the brand's spicy image.



    Along with your EPK, artists are asked to submit a YouTube video that utilizes a song suitable for this opportunity.



    Submitted songs must creatively incorporate the following four words in any order:


    1. Salsa Sensations

    2. Fresh

    3. Wal-Mart

    4. Spicy






    Benefits for Selected Artists:

    • Studio time to record a professional version of the winning jingle.

    At least three finalists will be announced on Monday, February 28, 2011. Public voting for the videos on the Salsa Sensations sites (listed above) will be open from Monday, February 28, 2011 until Sunday, March 6, 2011. The Finalist with the most video likes, comments and plays on both Salsa Sensations Facebook Fan Page and on their YouTube video, will win! Comments, plays and likes will be totaled between both Facebook and YouTube by the Salsa Sensations selection committee. The winner will be announced on March 7, 2011.



    How the winner will be chosen:

    The finalist's jingles will be chosen based on song and video creativity and brand relevancy, use of four key words and use of Salsa Sensations brand salsa in video. The winning jingle will be chosen based on a public vote: including a combination of likes, plays and comments on both the Salsa Sensations Facebook Fan Page and the Entrant's YouTube video on the Salsa Sensations YouTube channel.

Terms And Conditions

Official Rules for Salsa Sensations Jingle Contest
IMPORTANT NOTE TO THE ENTRANT: Please read these Rules very carefully before you fill in the entrant form and submit your photo and supporting material (all together referred to as the Entry).
You, as the entrant in this Contest (referred to as the Entrant), must read and agree to these Terms before submitting an Entry. By completing and submitting an Entry, Entrants are deemed to have confirmed that they have read, understood and unequivocally accept all of the Terms of this Contest and meet the eligibility requirements.
1. Final decision: The decisions of Next Phase Enterprises, LLC, 4020 N. 20th Street, Suite 305, Phoenix, Arizona, 85016 (Next Phase or Administrator), are final and binding. Winning a prize is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth herein. No decisions of the Administrator or any of the judges associated with the Contest may be challenged on any ground, including without limitation, failure of the Administrator to act reasonably, fairly, in good faith, or in accordance with the principles of procedural fairness; and Administrators decisions will remain binding and conclusive even if those decisions were allegedly or actually wrong or based upon error or otherwise based on any unreasonable, irrational, or irrelevant consideration.
2. Odds: The odds of winning will depend on the number of eligible entries received. Limit one (1) entry per valid e-mail address and video entry.
3. Eligibility: The Contest is open only to legal residents of the United States of America EIGHTEEN (18) YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER at the time of entry. The Contest is void where prohibited or restricted by law. The Contest is sponsored by Next Phase Enterprises LLC The Administrator will be responsible for verifying that all Contest entries submitted comply with these Official Rules. All directors, officers and employees of the Administrator, and any respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, sales representatives, distributors, licensees, agents, advertising and Contest advisors, and each of their respective immediate family members (spouses, parents, children, and siblings and their respective spouses), and those living in the same household as each, are not eligible to participate in the Contest.
4. Contest Period. This first round of the Contest will begin at 12:01 a.m. Mountain Standard Time (MST) on post date and ending at 11:59 p.m. MST February 25 , 2011. (the Contest Period). The second round of the Contest will begin at 10 am MST on February 28, 2011 and ending at 11:59 pm on March 6, 2011. Next Phases computer system shall be the official timekeeper.
5. Description of Contest. This Contest is for anyone who meets the eligibility requirements. Administrator is seeking compliance with Contest Rules in determining winner. Winner will be chosen based on creativity and compliance with contest rules.
6. How to Enter the Contest: To enter the Contest, during the Contest Period entrants must:
? Create a YouTube video of original song (must be 30 seconds or more in length).

? Video must include visuals of Salsa Sensations brand salsa in mild, medium and hot (click here for a list of Wal-Mart locations near you where you can find the salsa!)

? Song must creatively incorporate the following four words in any order:
1. Salsa Sensations
2. Fresh
3. Wal-Mart
4. Spicy

? Fill out entry form and submit video on SalsaSensations.com by clicking HERE (insert link here). Entry form will ask for link and embed code to YouTube video entry.

? Entry deadline: 11:59 pm MST on Friday, February 25, 2011

? At least three finalists will be announced on Monday, February 28, 2011 and notified via e-mail and phone. Finalists must sign and return (via fax or e-mail) the signed Affidavit of Eligibility (which will be e-mailed to them when they are announced as a finalist) by 11:59 pm on Monday, February 28, 2011 to Administrator.

? Finalists videos will be re-posted on the Salsa Sensations Facebook Fan Page and on the Salsa Sensations YouTube Channel. Public voting will be open from Monday, February 28, 2011 until Sunday, March 6, 2011. The Finalist with the most video likes, comments and plays on both Salsa Sensations Facebook Fan Page and on their YouTube video, will win! Comments, plays and likes will be totaled between both Facebook and YouTube by the Salsa Sensations selection committee.

? Winner will be announced on March 7, 2011.

7. Contest Rules.
a) All songs and videos must be original work
b) No copyrighted art, graphics, music or pictures shall appear in video or song, or all required permissions have been lawfully acquired by the entrant.
c) No disparaging remarks may be made during or after the Contest Period.
d) Entrants shall not provide any false information about themselves, the Contest, or the Administrators to the public or to the Administrator
e) All of Administrators trademarks must be used appropriately
f) Obtain Administrators prior written approval before providing interviews or public comment related to the Contest.
g) The Entry may not violate any applicable law or regulation (including any laws regarding anti-discrimination or false advertising.)
h) The Entry may not be obscene or pornographic.
i) The Entry may not contain any viruses or other computer programming routines that are intended to damage, detrimentally interfere with, surreptitiously intercept or expropriate any system, date or personal information.
j) Entrants must agree to record a professional version of the jingle and to transfer all rights and ownership of the jingle and the video submitted as part of the entry to Administrator if selected as the winner.
k) One entry per person
8. Breach of Contest Rules. Entrants acknowledge that any breach or violation of these Official Rules, or a third party asserting rights to any work, shall immediately disqualify the entrant during any phase of the Contest. Administrator is not responsible for any entries that are lost, late, misdirected, incorrect, garbled, or incompletely received, for any reason, including by reason of hardware, software, browser or network failure, malfunction, congestion, or incompatibility at any Administrators servers or elsewhere, which entries are void.
9. Contest Administrator. Next Phase will act as Contest Administrator and will be the final arbiter of compliance with Contest Rules.
10. Winner Selection. Once the competition is closed at the end of the first Contest Period, Administrator will review all entries and choose at least three finalists based on creativity, adherence to theme and relevancy to brand, and use of product and keywords in song and video as listed in Section 6 of this document. The three finalists entries will be re-posted on Salsa Sensations Facebook Fan Page and YouTube Channel and public voting will open. The video with a the most likes, plays and comments (combined between both outlets) will be announced as the winner.
11. Grand Prize. The entrant who wins the Grand Prize will receive an official check for $2,000 made out to the Entrants name. Entrant will also win studio time to record a professional version of the winning jingle. No transfer, assignment, or substitution of a prize is permitted except by Next Phase who may substitute a prize with one of comparable or greater value, at its sole discretion.
12. Warranty: By entering the Contest, each entrant represents, warrants and covenants that (i) each work, or any portion thereof, is the entrants original work and does not infringe upon or otherwise violate any right of any third party, including any copyright, trademark or other intellectual property rights; (ii) each work, or any portion thereof, has not been previously published and the entrant shall not submit the work, or any portion thereof, to any other contest or publication; and (iii) the entrant has the right and power to enter the Contest and perform all the obligations.
13. Ownership/Use Rights: SUBMISSION OF WORKS, ENTRIES AND ANY COPYRIGHTED OR COPYRIGHTABLE WORK OR DESIGNS OR OTHER INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY CONTAINED THEREIN, IN THIS CONTEST CONSTITUTES ENTRANTS IRREVOCABLE AND EXCLUSIVE ASSIGNMENT, CONVEYANCE, AND TRANSFERENCE TO NEXT PHASE OF ALL RIGHT, TITLE, AND INTEREST OF SUCH WORKS, ENTRIES, AND ANY OTHER INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY CONTAINED THEREIN AS OF THE DATE OF SUBMISSION, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, COPYRIGHTS, and the entrant agrees that entrant (or any other third party) does not retain any rights to such works or other materials. Entrant agrees to execute such assignment or other documents as are necessary to enforce the rights of Next Phase granted herein without any compensation of any kind to entrant, his/her successors or assigns, or any other entity. By entering the Contest, each entrant agrees that Next Phase shall have the right, but not the obligation, to edit, remove, modify, publish, license, print, transmit, display or otherwise use any submitted Work, and all accompanying personally identifiable information entrant submits, via all forms of media now known or hereafter devised worldwide, in perpetuity, without notice, attribution or compensation to entrant, his/her successors or assigns, or any other entity, except where prohibited by law. Entrant waives any retained rights of attribution, privacy, publicity, withdrawal, integrity or other moral or personal rights in the Works, entry-forms and other related materials. All Works, entry-forms and other related materials become the property of Next Phase and will not be returned to any entrant. If Next Phase requests the entrants cooperation in promoting the Contest, the entrant agrees to reasonably be available for such promotional activities.
14. Privacy: By participating in the Contest, entrant authorizes Next Phase to collect, use, process, transfer and store all data provided by entrant, including without limitation, personal data, to the United States, or any location(s) throughout the world that Next Phase deems necessary, whether within the United States of America or elsewhere, and with such party(ies) as Next Phase deems appropriate, for purposes of administration of the Contest. All information submitted to Next Phase as part of this Contest will be treated in accordance with Next Phases privacy statement, available at INSERT LINK HERE and clicking on the privacy policy link. Personal information will be used only to: (a) provide information about the Contest; (b) contact and publicize potential winners; and/or (c) if an entrant selects to receive additional information from the Contest on the entry form, to send additional information to that entrant during or after the Contest Period. Entrants to the Contest will be given the option to receive commercial e-mails from Next Phase; however, eligibility to participate in the Contest is not dependent upon the entrants consent to receive such e-mails. Entrants must fully complete and submit all non-optional data requested on the online entry form to be eligible. Entrants have the right to withdraw and correct their personal data up to the determination of the Finalists, but entrants are not allowed to re-submit their entries. Directions on procedures for submitting corrections to personal data are provided in the privacy statements of Next Phase.
15. Release and Limitations on Liability. By participating in the Contest, the entrant agree to release and hold harmless all directors, officers and employees of Administrator, and each of their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, sales representatives, distributors, licensees, agents, advertising and Contest agencies (the Released Parties) from and against any claim or cause of action arising out of participation in the Contest, or receipt or use of any prize, including, but not limited to: (a) unauthorized human intervention in the Contest; (b) technical errors related to computers, servers, providers, or telephone or network lines; (c) printing errors; (d) lost, late, misdirected, incorrect, garbled, or incompletely received entries; (e) errors in the administration of the Contest or the processing of entries; or (f) injury or damage to persons or property which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from entrants participation in the Contest or acceptance, receipt, use, or misuse of any prize; or travel to any Contest-related events; and (g) any claims based on publicity rights, copyright/trademark infringement, intellectual property rights, defamation or invasion of privacy and merchandise delivery. Each Entrant further agrees to release the Released Parties and their designees and assigns from any liability whatsoever, and waive any and all causes of action, for any claims, costs, injuries, losses and damages of any kind arising out of or in connection with the Contest or acceptance, possession, or use of any prize (including, without limitation, attorneys fees, claims, costs, personal injuries, losses and damages related to personal injuries, death, damage to or destruction or property, rights of publicity or privacy, defamation or portrayal in a false light, whether intentional or unintentional), whether under a theory of contract, tort (including negligence), warranty or other theory. Next Phase is not responsible if any prize cannot be awarded due to delays or interruptions due to acts of God, acts of war, natural disasters, weather or acts of terrorism.
16. Cancellation, changes or substitution. Administrator reserves the right to cancel this Contest, or change or vary any condition or requirement of this Contest in any way it deems fit, without notice.
17. Miscellaneous. The decisions of Next Phase are final with respect to all aspects of this Contest. The Contest and these Official Rules will be governed, construed and interpreted under the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to choice of law principles. In the event that the operation, security, or administration of the Contest is impaired in any way for any reason, including, but not limited to fraud, virus, or other technical problems, or any condition caused by events beyond the reasonable control of the Administrator that may cause the Contest to be disrupted or corrupted, Next Phase may, in its sole discretion, either: (a) suspend the Contest to address the impairment and then resume the Contest in a manner that best conforms to the spirit of these Official Rules; or (b) award the prize from among the non-suspect, eligible entries received up to the time of the impairment. Next Phase reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process, the operation of the Contest, to be acting in violation of these Official Rules or any applicable laws relating to the Contest, or in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner, and to resolve all disputes in its sole discretion. In the event of a dispute as to any Work submitted, Works submitted will be deemed made by the authorized account holder of the e-mail address submitted at the time of entry. Authorized account holder is defined as the natural person who is assigned to the e-mail address by an Internet access provider, online service provider, or other organization (e.g., business, educational institution, etc.) which is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address. Proof of being the authorized account holder may be required. Any attempt by any person to undermine the legitimate operation of the Contest may be a violation of criminal and civil law, and, should such an attempt be made, Next Phase reserves the right to seek damages from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law. Next Phases failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision. In the event an insufficient number of entries are received, Next Phase reserves the right to cancel the Contest and shall be under no obligation to award the prizes.
18. Winners List. For the name of the Grand Prize winner, send a self-addressed, stamped envelope to: Next Phase Enterprises LLC, 4020 N. 20th Street, Suite 305, Phoenix, Arizona, 85016. The Grand Prize winner will be available for 60 days after winner selection. Please allow 6-8 weeks for delivery.
19. Sponsor(s). The Sponsor of this Contest is Next Phase Enterprises LLC. Entrants shall not use the trademarks of Sponsor or falsely associate themselves with any Sponsor during or after the Contest Period.
