This is the world's happiest transformative event & we're looking for Sonicbids artists to join us! 

Holi Festival of Colors Salt Lake City takes place Saturday, June 13 at the Krishna Temple. There will be non stop live music from great bands, yoga, mantras, dance, cuisine, and the throwing of colors! 

The Opportunity

In India, Holi announces the arrival of spring and the passing of winter. The festival breathes an atmosphere of social merriment. Every nook and corner presents a colorful sight. Young and old alike are covered with colors (red, green, yellow, blue, pink, orange, violet, and more), while people in small groups are seen singing, dancing and throwing colors on each other. 

This is an opportunity to play to a mindful, joyful, lively event in front of a crowd that is sure to bring energy and positivity to your set. 

The Band

  • Looking for kirtan/sacred music dance or acts that can adapt to that sound. Hip Hop, Soul, Dub Mantra, Kirtan
  • Looking for local artists with a proven history of playing live events
  • Artists must have a solid online following and be willing to promote the event 

The Gig

  • Saturday, June 13, 11am-5pm 
  • Krishna Temple, 965 East 3370 South SLC 84106
  • Artists can sell merch onsite and keep 100% of the proceeds
  • PA provide, bands should expect to bring their own equipment (backline to be discussed at time of booking) 
  • Payment TBD at time of booking
