Now in its 19th year, the San José Mariachi and Mexican Heritage Festival culminates in a free, all-day outdoor feria in the heart of downtown San José that attracts up to 25,000 visitors. They are looking to fill up to 10 slots at this outdoor feria using Sonicbids./n/nPerform for an audience of thousands at Northern California’s largest Hispanic cultural event, the San José Mariachi and Mexican Heritage Festival. Now in its 19th year, the San José Mariachi and Mexican Heritage Festival culminates in a free, all-day outdoor feria in the heart of downtown San José, featuring mariachi music, latin music, ballet folklórico, Latin arts and crafts vendors, great Latin food, children's activities and much more. The outdoor feria in 2009 attracted about 25,000 visitors throughout the day. They are looking to fill up to 10 slots at this outdoor feria using Sonicbids.


The San José Mariachi and Mexican Heritage Festival celebrates Latin music of all types and genres from the traditional to the contemporary. Submissions are welcome in mariachi, conjunto, Tex Mex, Latin rock, Latin pop, or any other type of Latin music. Past artists to perform at the outdoor feria include Lila Downs, Ozomatli, Mariachi Cobre, Mariachi Los Camperos de Nati Cano, Mariachi Internacional, and Linda Ronstadt. The 2010 outdoor feria will be on Sunday, September 26th, 2010 at the Plaza de Cesar Chavez in downtown San José.


The San José Mariachi and Mexican Heritage Festival is a program of the Mexican Heritage Corporation.
