2017 Rock the World

<p><span>Selected artists must check in at the artist check-in location at the Holiday World front gate at least one hour before their assigned performance time. Artists must be at performance venue at least 45 minutes prior to their assigned performance time. Remember, Holiday World is on Central Daylight Savings Time (same time zone as Chicago and Nashville, one hour behind Indianapolis and Louisville). Selected artists agree to promote Rock the World through social media at least four times leading up to the event, including a link to the event Facebook page on the artist Facebook page. Promotion must not begin until permission is granted from Holiday World. Specific promotion must be removed at the request of Holiday World. Holiday World has the right to promote artists via all available means. A drum kit, microphones, and sound equipment will be provided. No cartage will be provided for additional artist instruments. It is strongly advised to pack light. Merchandise sales will be allowed at a specific location during a specific time. No literature distribution will be allowed. Artist, all employees, associates, and representatives thereof shall conduct themselves in a courteous manner toward all the guests, customers, or patrons attending Rock the World. Artist will not throw anything into the audience or incite the audience to do such. Rock the World does not allow stage diving, moshing, and/or crowd surfing by the audience or the artists. Artists must not encourage, in word or deed, any of the above listed activities, and if such activity occurs, must ask the crowd to stop any and all moshing and crowd surfing. If the activity does not stop, the artist must cease their performance until the crowd complies with the stated policy. Artists are not allowed to leave the stage during the performance or make any attempt to get closer to the audience in any way. Any artist who violates any or all of the above stated policy will forfeit their honorarium and will be held liable for any expenses and/or personal injuries or property damage resulting from such activity. The artist also agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Holiday World a result of this breech of policy. Artist, its employees, associates or representatives thereof shall not invite anyone onto the stage or backstage. By agreeing to perform at Rock the World, Artist agrees to video recording of the event by Holiday World. Holiday World retains 100% creative and directorial control of all video recording for event promotional purposes. Video footage will not be sold, distributed or given to anyone. Backstage dressing rooms will be available prior to performance if needed. It is recommended to arrive at venue dressed and ready to perform. Artist must sign official Rock the World rider &amp; waiver. Artist understands and grants permission for Holiday World to list artist name and location in an online poll / contest and ongoing event promotion, even if artist is not selected for the event. Promotional efforts may include but is not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, <a target="_blank" href="http://www.holidayworld.com">www.holidayworld.com</a>, and media press releases. Artist is strongly recommended to follow the event Facebook page (facebook.com/rocktheworldfest) to watch out for online polls. Your fan base may help you get a Rock the World performance slot...help us get the word out!</span></p>
