Artists can also sell their own merchandise and their guests will receive free entry./n/nSanta Barbara Beer Festival, expecting to reel in 2,000 attendees, aims to help promote two local nonprofits and have a lot of fun while doing so. The city's oldest beer festival features live entertainment, food and tons of microbrews of the central and west coast.



The festival, located at Elings Park, a 230-acre private, non-profit park boasting views of the city and ocean, is seeking artists from southern California (or surrounding areas) from a wide variety of genres. They are looking to fill two performance slots. Selected artists will receive massive exposure, networking capabilities, and a chance to taste various, top-notch beers for free. No compensation is provided; however, artists can sell their own merchandise and their guests will receive free entry.


Past performers include: The Kicks, The Brewery Boys, Debra Farris Band and more.



The festival brings in massive local media attention including the Santa Barbara News-Press and the Santa Barbara Independent, who is also a sponsor.



About Santa Barbara Rugby Association (SBRA):

The Santa Barbara Beer Festival is managed by the Santa Barbara Rugby Association. The SBRA was formed on July 19th, 2002, by members of the Grunion Rugby Football Club, Westmont College Rugby Club, and UCSB Rugby Club. The goal was to create a non-profit organization 501(c)(3) that would be able to promote Santa Barbara rugby from a unified front.
