Summary
SaskMusic is pleased to announce their 2008 compilation CD, following the success of the "In Tune: Saskatchewan 2007" promotional CD created for the Department of Culture, Youth and Recreation (Government of Saskatchewan). SaskMusic has produced many past compilations (including two Centennial CDs and several Flatland Music Festival albums).
SaskMusic is seeking new and fresh material from emerging artists, or brand new material from established artists. Up-tempo tracks arent required, but preferred. SaskMusic hopes to include representation across Saskatchewan from all genres. Only artists who are currently residing in Saskatchewan will be considered. You must become a member of SaskMusic to be accepted for this opportunity
This year, the compilation CD is intended for promotion and distribution to media, and industry professionals across Canada. SaskMusic is aiming for a March, 2008 release.
Submitting artists must have a recent, professionally recorded track available NOW (under 5 min in length). Material released more than 3 years ago will not be considered. Tracks must be available immediately. Demo singles that are of release quality will be considered.
