Summary
Green-Wood Cemetery in Brooklyn is one of New York City's premier historical sites with beautiful nature and architecture abound over 472 acres. In association with the Brooklyn Lyceum, the site will now play host to a variety of musical acts in the monthly Saved in Time music series. The purpose of the series will be to raise funds to restore some of the monuments in the cemetery that have weathered over time.
Acts will be booked both indoors in the mini-cathedral/chapel on the grounds, as well as outdoors. Capacity ranges from 100 for indoor shows to 500 for outdoor performances. Compensation will be provided in the form of a percentage of the door, varying by act. Most non-heavy rock artists may submit for consideration.
