Say Word Wednesday- Philadelphia, PA

Say Word Wednesdays is an open mic event taking place on the 3rd and 4th Wednesdays of each month at The Art Garage in Philadelphia, PA, and is open to all performing artists who want to showcase their craft and network with other artists. They are currently accepting submissions for headliners to be featured at the end of each night. There are four headliners per month.



Poets, hip-hop, pop, rock, alternative, classic and nu-soul, jazz vocalists and instrumentalists are all encouraged to submit.



How many of us have tuned out the radio because you’re tired of listening to the same 10 songs every hour? How many of you have heard people say they can't see themselves jamming to poetry? That’s about to change.



Say Word is going to change the game of what people jam to. Imagine going to a club and listening to some of the tightest poets mixed by Philadelphia’s hottest DJ's. Imagine a place that's going to bring back the soul music you yearn to hear. Imagine a place that wants to give those of artists a place to be heard.
