Scullers Jazz Club, voted "Boston’s #1 Jazz Club" has set a new standard for jazz venues with our world-class roster of artists, stellar sound system and intimate setting reminiscent of the lush jazz club’s of the past.



Scullers presents world renown and marquee local and regional talent. By submitting, you should be able to reasonably draw upwards of 150 patrons. There are also possible ‘room gigs’ for local artists with new CD releases. Again, a healthy draw of 100 is necessary in order to be booked. Artists are paid well according to draw and ticket sales.



Since its inception in October of 1989, Scullers deep, rich mahogany walls and large windows overlooking the Charles River and Boston skyline have reverberated with an eclectic mix of jazz that has attracted a loyal audience as diverse and vibrant as the city of Boston itself.



Led by jazz impresario Fred Taylor, known throughout the country as owner of the legendary jazz clubs 'Paul’s Mall' and the 'Jazz Workshop', along with General Manager Dayla Arabella Santurri, Scullers Jazz Club has become a true Boston landmark.



Scullers Jazz Club has presented celebrated international artists such as Nancy Wilson, Lou Rawls, Bobby Short, George Shearing, Shirley Horn, Marian McPartland, Harry Connick Jr. and Wynton Marsalis to name but a few.



Scullers Jazz Club has also played a major role in introducing new and rising stars such as Diana Krall, Danilo Perez, Jane Monheit, Norah Jones and more recently Peter Cincotti, Michael Bublé and Jamie Cullum.



While Scullers is renowned for showcasing a wide range of jazz artists from straight-ahead to contemporary jazz, it has also earned a reputation for presenting something for everyone. Scullers has been a champion of the Latin music scene presenting artists such as Arturo Sandoval, Orquesta Aragon and Eddie Palmieri as well as classic R&B stars such as The Manhattans, Oleta Adams, Will Downing and Regina Belle.



Scullers Jazz Club is also proud to showcase Boston’s vibrant cabaret scene and present wonderful local artists such as Sophia Bilides, Will McMillan, Bobbi Carrey, Carol O’Shaughnessy, Jan Peters and Krisanthi Pappas to name a few.
