Thursday night gets the festival going with the festival kick off party and live bands, followed with parties and shows at every venue on Friday afternoon and night. Saturday is the all-day/all-night music marathon with band performances from 12noon until the bars close (bars are open until 4AM in Seaside Heights). Daytime activities like the Vendor Village, free surfing and wakeboarding clinics, and other events to be announced will get everyone in the swing of summer.

Bands are hooked up with special artist accommodation rates and meal/drink specials, and are invited to artist schmoozing parties to network with other bands on Friday and Saturday.
Artists and bands in the following genres are encouraged to apply for this gig: Acoustic, Adult Contemporary, Alternative, Americana, Blues, Cabaret, Country, Electronic/Dance/DJ, Folk, Indie Rock, Jam, Jazz, Punk, Reggae, Rock, and Singer/Songwriters. At least 10 slots are reserved for Sonicbids artists. All bands must promote their own gig slot at this music festival. Because there are multiple venues (many indoors) at this event, each band needs to promote their show heavily to get their fans in front of their stage at the festival.

Bands are not compensated monetarily for their gigs at this time. Festival producers provide special band hotel rates and meal/drink specials.
