This is a one day festival (6/27), but they're putting on an "unplugged" night of acoustic music on 6/24 called Queer Jam. The festival on Sunday will feature two full stages, 150 vendors, and tens of thousands of attendees fresh from the Downtown Pride Parade and ready to party.

With that said, musicians who fall into the following genres are strongly encouraged to apply: rock, hip hop, singer/songwriter, and dance. Please, no comedians or psychics.

Each year, the PrideFest comes up with a theme to help showcase the LGBTQ community. In 2010, the fest will focus on storytelling: every member of the community has a story to tell, and although they may comes from various walks of life, they are all shades of beautiful.

Queer Jam will take place on June 24 at a bar on Capitol Hill, and the Pride Festival on Sunday, June 27 at the Seattle Center. Past acts have included Kristine W, Inaya Day, Shoshana Bean, Abigail, Reina, QBoy and many other popular musicians. For more information check out their website.
