The Opportunity
Secret Loft is a DIY venue in Greenwich Village, Manhattan.
We host a monthly singer-songwriter night. Guests sit on carpets on the floor, focus on the music, and are asked not to talk during the performances. We're looking for 4 artists to each play a 20 minute set for a chill Wednesday show.
The Band
Electric guitars and accompaniment are fine, but please only apply for the gig if your act fits a chill singer-songwriter vibe.
The Gig
- Capacity 80+
- Doors at 8 pm
- Sets at 8:30, 9, 9:30, and 10pm
- We have a bass amp, small Line 6 guitar amp, and a really nice Yamaha Motif 88-key weighted-key keyboard available for backline, but no drums
- Tickets will be priced at $5 and we'll do a door poll to determine draw for each artist. The first $25 from an artist's door goes to the sound/tech, and the rest goes to the artist, so if you draw 25 guests you'll make $100
- Artists also get 2 drink tickets per band member
