Sender Films is a leading producer of climbing/mountaineering and outdoor films. Their two most recent films won awards at the Banff Mountain Film Festival and at other international mountain film festivals throughout the world. They create movies that are heart-thumping, knee-slapping, totally rad adventures in the vertical world of rock climbing. The soundtracks have been comprised of many well known artists, including Clap Your Hands Say Yeah!, Devotchka, and The Rapture in addition to their unsigned musician buddies.



Sender Films is currently seeking indie music to be licensed for use in their films. Selected artists can be promoted in various ways:


  • On the Sender Films website with song samples, banner graphics and links to the band website or Amazon.com


  • On the film’s national tour, which includes 100 locations throughout the country and thousands of people


  • Any other ideas that artists might have – Sender is more than receptive.



    Sender receives many inquiries from viewers asking about the bands in their very musically-driven films. While not always very profitable, these movies are seen by crowds of people and generate great media attention for everyone involved.
