SERUM Compilation CD Series

SERUM is creating a series of compilation projects. The first release will be a holiday CD featuring Gospel/Christian artists with a planned release date of November 2010. SERUM is distributed by Fontana [Universal Music Group/Universal Music Christian Group]. Artists will be paid a royalty of 5 cents per CD sold and 5 cents per download of single. The first run of CDs may be in the area of 10,000-15,000. The production fee will be waived for 3 Sonicbids artists./n/nSERUM is creating a series of compilation projects. Currently they are selecting artists for a Spring 2011 pop/R&B/soul release . SERUM is distributed by Fontana [Universal Music Group/Universal Music Christian Group]. Artists will be paid a royalty of 5 cents per CD sold and 5 cents per download of single. The first run of CDs may be in the area of 10,000-15,000.

Depending upon location of artists, they plan to promote the compilations with a mini-promotional tour, one or two video shoots, a series of 15 second clip videos shot as commercials for social media networks, and in-store appearances where applicable. Some artists will open for SERUM's award-winning artist Kristina Halloway [2010 BET Gospel Award nominee, Billboard peak position #11, Top 20 Singles peak position #17 in Canada, ahead of Nina Simone, Norah Jones, and Madonna].

There is normally a $35 fee to appear on the project that goes toward production and administration costs. However, this fee will be waived for 3 Sonicbids artists. Up to 8 Sonicbids bands will be included on the compilation.
