Seven Ten Downtown Live- Lake Charles, LA

Seven Ten Downtown Live is a new venue in Lake Charles, Southwest Louisiana, located right off of the I-10 corridor, making it a perfect stop for any artists touring between Houston, TX and New Orleans, LA. This is one of the nicest venues in the Lake Charles area and is comparable to venues in larger cities. It consists of two stages: The front room lounge holds 175 people and can accommodate acoustic and small bands, and the back stage handles the rest, holding 325.



They typically book two months in advance, featuring the best bands in the country, nationally touring stand-up comics weekly, and DJ's (not the lame I-tunes variety but live DJ's scratching on vinyl.) Performances take place four nights a week.



Rock, alternative, zydeco, country, indie, blues, jazz, funk, folk, experimental, bluegrass, rockabilly, punk, heavy rock, acoustic, comedy and more are encouraged to submit, but know that this venue tends to steer away from extremely pop music. National, regional and local acts are equally welcomed. Pending on the act, a guarantee may be negotiated. For most bands, it is an 80/20 split of the door along with lodging as well as food.



Equipment, backline, PA, sound re-enforcement and in house engineers are available if needed at extra cost to the artist.
