Shamrock the Block 2009

Shamrock the Block, Richmond, Virginia’s first outdoor festival of the season, is back for its 6th year! This St. Patrick’s Day festival celebration is one of many conceptions of Three One One Productions. This is a free event for the public, and attendance is always great. Last year’s festival drew over 10,000 attendees. The 2009 festival will take place on March 14, 2009. There are 5–6 artists booked to play the festival on one stage throughout the day.

The festival is looking for emerging rock and Celtic artists to spotlight, potentially leading to performance opportunities in additional 2009 festivals and beyond. Additionally, Three One One Productions is always looking for great talent to add to their management roster. Travel, lodging, and backline are the responsibility of the artist. Artists will receive exposure through the advertising campaign and merchandise sales. Compensation is possible for selected artists, but is negotiated at the time of booking. Past emerging artists to perform at Shamrock the Block include Sick Puppies.

Three One One Productions was started out of the desire to take event production to a different place. "Out of the box" thinking, non-traditional venue space and memorable events are the key factors in how they structured their vision.

They are methodical in how they do their events, planning the revenue streams and the social impact their events could have. The mission is simple: "Give people a great event at a great price for a great cause". Since its inception, Three One One Productions has worked with corporate, private and non-profit organizations to produce, manage and create profitable events.
