Located in Milwaukee, WI, it's looking primarily for regional and national touring acts. They welcome a wide variety of genres including alternative, americana, rock, and singer/songwriter. Shank Hall is an established venue looking for established bands. Artists receive 100% of door after expenses. Artists must be 21+ and have a draw of 50 or more./n/nShank Hall is an established 300 person venue that call the city of Milwaukee, WI its home. Shank Hall takes its name from the fictitious Milwaukee venue featured in the cult classic faux rockumentary This Is Spinal Tap. The owner, Peter Jest, met the band in 1984 and told them that if he ever opened up a venue it would be named Shank Hall. Today the veritable 300 person venue has played host to established touring bands for over 20 years and continues to do so. All band members must be 21+.
