Shazamfest

ShazamFest is the Eastern Townships’ most eclectic music and culture festival. Set at the base of a rolling river, lush green forest and meadows, ShazamFest’s grounds include a vast camping area and natural amphitheatre. This year’s event takes place on August 1-3, 2008. ShazamFest is a three-day, outdoor extravaganza showcasing live bands, dancers, circus performers, burlesque shows, wrestlers, skateboarding expositions and DJs. ShazamFest brings together various acoustic and electric musical styles from reggae to punk.


ShazamFest also features a Kids’ area, workshops, wagon rides, skateboarding and wrestling competitions, and a swimming hole. Delicious food and drink will be available from their kitchen, tea-room, and saloon. ShazamFest is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to bringing talents from the local area and beyond together to play in a rural setting. Selected artists will be compensated and lodging can be provided with details to be negotiated at the time of booking. ShazamFest is made possible with the invaluable support from our many local volunteers.
