Shoe Fest

Shoe Fest is a 2 day music and camping festival held at Stonehouse Park in Earlville, IL. This is the inaugural year for this festival, and it will take place on September 9th, starting at noon, and it will run through September 10th at noon. There will be two stages, with an emphasis on roots music. There are 2 performance slots reserved for Sonicbids artists. All folk, folk rock, bluegrass and jam band artists are encouraged to submit to this festival. All folk, folk rock, bluegrass and jam band artists based in the mid west are encouraged to submit to this festival. Local artists will be performing primarily for exposure but may receive complimentary tickets to then sell and keep the profits. Compensation will be negotiable based on popularity of the selected artists. A sound system and sound engineer will be provided for both stages, but artists must provide all other equipment.



Shoe Fest 2011's confirmed headliners include Great American Taxi, Family Groove Company, Henhouse Prowlers, Strange Arrangement, Old Shoe, Chicago Farmer, Cosmic Railroad, Barefoot Fred, Paradise Waits, Thinner Teed, Sean Shiel, Jack Pines,
The Shams Band and many, many more.
