Shreducation Season 2 Music Licensing (MTV2, Nickelodeon)

The show will be aired by MTV2 Canada, Nickelodeon New Zealand, Nickelodeon Australia, and possibly other major networks. Selected artists will be compensated through their performance rights organization and at least one artist will be selected using Sonicbids./n/nSOLID. Publishing is seeking new music for inclusion in the second season of the television show Shreducation. Created by the producers of Shred and Shred II, Shreducation is a high-flying reach for the top of the snowboard world for a team of talented young riders lead by former pro Jesse Fulton. The classroom is where the tour takes them on their globe-trotting journey, searching for success and discovering life lessons along the way.

Entering its second season on international television, Shreducation Season 2 is confirmed to be aired by MTV2 Canada, Nickelodeon New Zealand, and Nickelodeon Australia with the opportunity to possibly be picked up by a number of other television stations. At least one band will be selected using Sonicbids.

This is a excellent opportunity to promote your music, get nation-wide exposure, and be be financially compensated for airplay through their performing rights organization of choice (ASCAP, BMI, SOCAN, etc). All musical genres will be considered; however, please keep in mind this is a live-action sports reality TV show so up-tempo and energetic music will be preferred. Selected artists will also automatically be considered for inclusion in future seasons of Shreducation.



SOLID. Publishing has been selected as the exclusive music licensor for the television series. Projected air dates for late March, They will be accepting music submissions until mid-march. Upon your submission the team at SOLID. Publishing will review your music. If the quality standards are met, your music will be forwarded on to the television producers for consideration. Should your music be chosen, you will be sent an email requesting a master copy of the song for post-production. At this time, Riverbank Films will issue a synchronization and master license agreement, specifying the agreement for the use of your music in Shreducation Season 2.
