PLAY: Shrine World Music Venue in NYC (Summer)

Shrine is a multimedia arts and culture venue, founded in 2007 by musicians and music lovers in the music capital of Harlem, USA. We are dedicated to art and culture in all mediums: film, theater, dance, and live music. The Shrine World Music mission is to establish a positive and creative atmosphere for both artists and audiences from all backgrounds. The Shrine is currently looking to book artists for the summer and early fall calendar.

The Shrine is looking to book Sonicbids artists on an ongoing basis for live performances, Shrine can accommodate 75 guests fully seated or 200 standing. The Shrine has been home to thousands of bands throughout the years and is a staple music venue in the heart of Harlem, U.S.A.  This is an ongoing opportunity to apply, and we'll find the best date for your band. This is an amazing opportunity to get active in a super progressive music scene and start building a fan base and relationships with one of the best venues in town.

• Acts must perform original music
• Acoustic performances are preferred
• Solo/duo and full band acts will all be considered
• All members must be age 21+ 
• This is an amazing opportunity for local and nationally touring artists. If you have an amazing sound and looking to gain a wider audience, this is the gig for you!

  We're looking for bands of all genres that play original music. We love Rock, Jazz, Folk, Acoustic, Latin, World, R&B, Hip-Hop, Blues and Soul acts, but we're open to all genres if it's good music

  Bands must be actively playing shows 

  Bands must be willing to heavily promote the show if chosen to play

  Bands are able to sell merch on-site

  All acts applying must meet the criteria that we look for, lyrics, stage presence, style and artists must have a fanbase

  Acts must have a solid online presence 

• 4 artists will typically perform each night
• Sets range from 1-2 hours
• Sound equipment (mics, PA's, monitors) will be supplied
• Basic backline (drum set, amps) will be provided

• Performing artists will receive 10% of the bar for the evening and tips
• Artists will also receive 1 complimentary drink from the bar
• Selected artists will be featured in Shrine's newsletter
• Artists can sell merch on-site
