The Church of Universal Love and Music is in their fourth season of providing high quality music and gathering events in Western Pennsylvania. Past artists we have worked with have spanned the musical spectrum from George Clinton to Bela Fleck to Moe to Jazz Mandolin Project. This year's artists include Lotus, Brothers Past, UMelt, the Recipe, 420 Funk Mob with special guest George Clinton, Victor Wooten, Sam Bush, and many others.

Planning is currently underway for two more festivals this summer including the Recipe Family Cookout August 19 - 21 and the Boykin Ball September 9 - 11. These are camping festivals and will be advertised both through traditional methods and more grass roots driven methods both on the Internet and on the ground. We expect 500-1500 people depending on the event.

We are generally seeking bands in the bluegrass, jam, rock, and funk categories. Verifiable draw in Ohio, PA, WV, NY or surrounds is a must. National touring bands of good reputation get preference. Some artists are offered spots based on ticket sales out of pocket, keeping a portion of the proceeds. National bands with verifiable draws are compensated in the traditional payment methods. We have at least one spot reserved for Sonicbids artists

In addition to their mission of hosting music festivals, the Church of Universal Love and Music provides an environment where like-minded people of musical spirits can gather together and worship their love of music and mass gathering ensemble.
