Simon Says Booking - 2007 Roster Addition

Simon Says Booking is a full service booking and publicity agency that is in its fifth year of independent operation. Past and present clients include Max Creek, ulu, Antigone Rising, Uncle Sammy, Mandorico, The Blue Method, Guest, One Under, Fareed Haque, Phat Phunktion, Zen Tricksters, Townhall, Chicago Afrobeat Project, Bump, Captain Soularcat, Moses Guest, and countless others. Freelance clients past and present include Badfish, Superhoney, the Boston Horns, the Casual Fiasco, Giant Panda Guerilla Dub Squad, and many others.



We are located in Northern MA but service events across the United States. In 2005, as an agency, we booked over 2,500 shows totaling over $1 million worth of business for our clients. In addition to handling bands, we also have a history of talent buying for events including the first ever Oregon Kids Fest, the Church of Universal Love and Music and clubs around the country. Our bands have played every type of event imaginable.



Simon Says Booking is capable or representing any genre and style, but concentrates on Funk, Rock, Jam, Bluegrass, R&B, Soul, and Ethnic/World bands. In the past Simon Says has represented everything including Radio Rock, Conscious Hip-Hop, Cajun, and even Punk bands. It would be no trouble to book any band or artist who is well known, but bands who are in need of serious development in the genres that include Metal, Singer/Songwriter, and Hip-Hop might not find what they are seeking here. That being said, any high quality band will be appropriate for submission, regardless of genre.


We pride ourselves on operating the agency differently than others, noting that we handle rock stars, but don't act like rock stars ourselves. It is our job to supply high quality entertainment to buyers around the country while representing our client artists to the best of our abilities. The company has grown in sales 10-50% every year since its inception including 50% growth last year.



While we generally have about 10-20 bands on our roster that we represent as their exclusive agents, we freelance as many as 100 other bands in any given year for less frequent opportunities. Our bands have played major festivals from coast to coast, and many buyers lean on us to supply them with new talent and to search out the most interesting and professional musicians touring today.



We will be choosing one Sonicbids band to add to our roster in 2007.
