Summary
Smiling Stranger Radio is an online radio station based in the UK. They are also artists and know the difficulty of getting airplay and so theyve set up this station to get good music out there. They have listeners in over 30 countries and have one simple rule, "if they like it, they play it. They realize that is a very arbitrary way of programming, but it makes very good radio!
In any given hour, you will hear very, very well known artists, obscure artists, new artists and yourself as an artist. They do not pay royalties but your music is getting out there in some shape or form.
There are five people in The Smiling Strangers and all have very different musical tastes, so they accept most genres. This produces an eclectic mix that they often change on a weekly basis. If selected they will put a link to your site from their website so that listeners can follow up your music, if they wish to ask more questions or purchase your CD.
