Summary
Smith College is the premier womens college in the country. Located in Northampton, MA, Smith is a vibrant campus which supports a strong music and arts scene. The Campus Center Activities Board is looking for acts to support their series programming as well as their Major Weekend programming.
Smith College books the following venues:
- An outdoor venue which holds 1000 people.
- The Carroll Room which seats 250
- The Goldstein Lounge which hosts their coffeehouse series . Capacity: 100
- A Pub which seats 40 people in an intimate setting.
Their series programming includes:
- Jittery's Live: A coffeehouse series which takes place in the Goldstein Lounge on Thursday evenings.
- Campus Center Comedy: This series is held in the Carroll Room.
- Spoken Word: This series brings the best slam poets from across the country.
- Smith College also books acts for their Welcome Back Week, Winter Weekend and Family Weekend.
They provide lodging as well as one meal for performers.
Local, regional, and national acts are all encouraged to submit. Smith College books around 15-20 artists per semester.
