Summary

Southern New Hampshire University is a small private college located in Manchester, New Hampshire, located an hour north of Boston. They are currently booking for the fall and spring semesters of the 2008-2009 academic year for the on campus pub - The Last Chapter. The Coordinators of Activities and Programming Events (CAPE) is a students run organization that is responsible for providing a wide variety of entertainment for Southern New Hampshire University.

SNHU is looking for both music and non-music performers (comedians) for several different on campus opportunities:

Southern New Hampshire is now booking for their Fall and Spring Semester (September through April, 2009)

• Coffeehouse Series - SNHU is looking for local or national musicians to come perform at the campus coffeehouse. With a capacity of 175 people, The Last Chapter Pub is interested in Acoustic, Singer/Songwriter, Folk and other mellow acts for their Sunday evening shows happening once a month. Past performers include Derek James, Ryan Montbleau, Chad Perrone and Tyrone Wells.

• Concerts - The Thursday night shows take place once a month, featuring the best Rock, Pop, Punk and Hip Hop artists, take place on campus in The Last Chapter Pub and have a capacity of 175 people. Past performers include hundred year storm, Enter the Haggis, Fly Upright Kite and Lucy Vincent.

• Comedy Acts - SNHU is looking for comedians who have experience performing for a college audience. Past performers include Dane Cook, Finesse Mitchell, Bob Marley and Steve Byrne.

They are especially interested in local or regional live Hip Hop bands, not DJs.

CAPE organizes and promotes one of each of the above events a month.

Submitting artists will be considered for all on campus opportunities, and CAPE will ultimately decide where each artist will perform. Acts will be compensated for their performance, with exact amounts to be negotiated. Lodging and hospitality will be provided if needed. Local and regional artists are encouraged to submit.
