Summary

The Snowmass Balloon Festival fills the sky with one of the highest-altitude balloon events in the country. Highlights include a specialized Kid’s Zone and the Saturday evening glow, barbeque, and free concert where brightly colored balloons light up the night sky and twinkle on and off like starts.

This is one of Snowmass Village’s fastest growing events and is co-sponsored by the Denver Post. Submissions from Americana and Bluegrass artists are being accepted for consideration to perform live at the event. There is one slot available. If selected, artist will be compensated



The festival takes place in beautiful Snowmass Village, CO on September 15. Since it is a family event, all artists who perform must abstain from using profanity and/or explicit content if selected. No backline is provided.
