Snowmass Village Oktoberfest

All guests and locals are "wilkommen" to attend this stein-klinking, lederhosen-laden, strudel-scarfing German harvest celebration on September 6, 2008. The festival combines authentic German beer, music & cuisine, with more modern live music, crisp fall air and fantastic mountain views. Biergartens, street performers, kids crafts, contests and more toast the season with Teutonic cheer. Around 3,000 people attend Oktoberfest

Traditional German folk artists, traditional dance and rock (jam/blues-based) artists are all encouraged to submit. Pay for selected ranges from $500-$1,500. One slot is available in each of the three genres (3 total performers).
