Snowmass Village Celtic Games

Try repeatedly throwing a 16 foot log end over end, shot-putting a 28 pound rock, pitch-forking heavy burlap bags over a high jump bar, and tossing a 56 pound metal weight like a discus…all in a kilt! The Celtic Games celebrate these centuries old sports with Celtic vendors, wares and food, dancing and music, and Clans providing heritage information make for a unique day.



The 4th annual games, which draws hundreds of people, takes place in Snowmass Village, CO on August 25.

Submissions from Celtic artists are being accepted for consideration to perform live at the event. There is one slot available. If selected, artist will be compensated. Since this is a family event, all artists who perform must abstain from using profanity and/or explicit content if selected.
