The deadline is approaching to submit to The Alternate Root, which will be hosting a Social Change sampler featuring artists from Sonicbids. Selected tracks will be put up on the magazine website for voting, and Songs With Vision will select 25 tracks for the compilation. The last sampler Alternate Root compiled was for their Valentine's sampler and had over 15,000 views and 5,000 votes, with five Sonicbids artists securing slots in the top ten most popular. They have had a total of 15,000 downloads of their two previous samplers. Additionally, Sonicbids artist Billy Franks got the highest voted slot on the album. This sampler will be about social change and will be a FREE sampler.

They are interested in all opinions about racism, gay rights, drugs, government spending, global warming, womens rights, war, Native Americans, legalizing marijuana, homeless, and immigration.
