2017 Solano Avenue Stroll

The Solano Avenue Stroll is booking at least 5 Sonicbids artists to perform at the 2017 event. Artists are compensated up to $300.

The annual Solano Avenue Stroll is one of Northern California's largest street festivals with an average attendance of 200,000 people. It is a free, family-oriented event that kicks off with a parade at 10 AM and ends at 6 PM. The Stroll features 75 entertainers, 50 food booths, 150 juried crafters, and over 200 community non-profit organizations. 

Since 1974, the merchants, restaurants and professionals, as well as the twin cities of Albany and Berkeley CA, have hosted the Solano Avenue Stroll, produced by the Solano Avenue Association. It is invariably the second Sunday in September and registration begins in April.

Incendio, CZ and the Bon Vivantes, Funky Bus & the U-Turns, Otis Goodnight, California Repercussions, Emeryville Taiko, and the Templebar Royal Hawaiian Ukulele Band

• Acts may be asked to play 1-3 sets
• 45-60 minute sets
• Single day event
• No backline provided
  
• No PA or sound engineer provided
• Electricity provided 
• Event ends at  5pm; you should be broken-down by 7pm
  

• Selected acts are compensated up to $300, to be negotiated at time of booking
• Artists may sell merchandise and keep 100% of the revenue (valid sellers permit required)
• The SAS is a "rain or shine" event however forecast rain (showers / or a greater chance than 25 percent) cancels all performances without compensation. In case of extremely bad weather or disaster, the show may be canceled at the discretion of the promoter.
