Summary
Back Stage Digital Media is currently looking for music to honor the brave veterans of the Vietnam War for a compilation CD. They are planning and working on having the compilation accompany a parade of thousands of banners in the United States Capitol Building Rotunda. Then those Banners will hopefully then be given to the individual States for a similar ceremony. The compilation is expected to be released late June 2009.
This is the chance to be part of a memorial and celebration of freedom through music and a vivid display honoring the faithful men and women in uniform. Some songwriters feel they may have written the anthem to honor, some may offer a song of healing, perhaps a story song, a spiritual, a rock hymn; Back Stage Digital Media wants to hear those songs. An additional compilation for Iraq & Afghanistan War Vets is planned for later this year.
Everyone who enters may request a CD if they are not selected. Selected artists will pay an additional one time printing fee of $50; this will also help cover postage of 20 copies to be sent to each selected artists. At least two (2) selected Sonicbids artists will not be required to pay any additional fees.
