Summary
Songwriter Central at C'est What takes place the third Tuesday of every month at Toronto's premier intimate singer showcase venue, C'est What (notable C'est What alumni include Jewel, Jeff Buckley, the Barenaked Ladies, Rufus Wainwright, Ron Sexsmith, Sarah Harmer, The Tea Party, and Hawksley Workman).
Hosted by singer-songwriter Andrea England (http://www.andreaengland.com) , this new 'songwriter in the round' concert series will provide an excellent opportunity for up and coming songwriters to experience the "songwriter circle" format, try out new material, and share the stage with established songwriters.
Featuring three songwriters and one special surprise*** guest each month, the series has a intimate atmosphere complete with great songs, amazing food & top-notch wine. Selected artists will be compensated based on the door proceeds.
Applications for this series will be accepted exclusively though Sonicbids. Genres accepted include: folk, pop, rock, blues, country, and of course, singer-songwriter. All material must be original and performed by the songwriter(s) on either guitar or piano. First-time Sonicbids users are eligible for discounts.
***the identity of the Special guests will not be announced prior to the event; in order to find our who's performing, you'll have to come out to the show and see for yourself! But you won't want to miss it....!
