Summary
The Brooklyn Songwriters Exchange is a weekly music series supporting the community of songwriters in New York City and beyond, offering consistently excellent music to the borough of Brooklyn.
Time Out NY calls the series "a cozy evening of song-sharing with a few hand picked, able locals."
NY Daily News says "The evening is a way to tap into the legions of local musicians, singers and songwriters... as well talented musicians from outside the city [in] a comfortable, small venue."
Each week we feature 2 local acts and one touring act. There is a $5 cover, which we split 50/50 with the venue.
Shows are held at the Brooklyn Lyceum, a multi-level performance venue in Park Slope.
