Film Synopsis:

In a cross between the British "Coupling" and American "American Pie," four men, Jack, Tom, Hugo, and Shag and their female counterparts are all in varying degrees of woeful love lives. In an attempt to improve their situations, they tackle the New York dating scene, hitting the clubs and bars, restaurants, and parties with an enthusiasm that is unparalleled. They soon learn, though, that in order to find the lighter side of love, they'll have to experience the darker side of dating.

REMIX, ELECTRONICA WITH A RETRO KICK

Scene Description: STRIP CLUB MONTAGE - friends (both male and female) hitting the club having a good time, Polaroid stills are patched together to show the fun they have; partial nudity (dancers without tops). Looking for a track that uses a retro, 60's, 70's themes and is remixed a'la Fatboy Slim. If it is original, it should have that feel to it with orchestration (Rhodes, Hammond, horns, etc). Fun, playful, kinky, and high-energy tune could be instrumental or with lyrics. If there are lyrics make sure that they fit the above description of the scene. Ideally the track would be BPM 90 with a double feel but we are open on this as the Editor will cut to chosen track. If your track is faster, make sure it has busy percussive sub-layers as this scene will be edited into a very fast-paced montage with lots of cuts so we want to make sure, the Editor has enough rhythmic elements to work with.

HIP-HOP TRACK

Scene Description: Hot shot walking into a night club, dressed up nice, throwing money around, girls looking at him with desire. Looking for a Hip-hop track about money. Catchy chorus, explicitly about being rich, money, etc. Artist can be both female or male.

Artists already licensed for this soundtrack include Sylvia Tosun, Donny Hotwheel, Freedom Williams, Femke, Hybrid Heights, Sted-E, Kerry Leva, Tom Noize and Loverush UK! among others. A number of these tracks were/are Billboard Top 10 on the Dance/Hot Club Play and the Club Play Singles Charts.

For both songs, compensation is $250-500 each, all-in. Artist must control or own the copyright to his/her masters and if samples are used, they all need to be cleared (a clause will be part of the sync and master agreements). Cover songs are therefore not acceptable.
