Summary

SOUND FOUNDATION helps brands use music to identify themselves with commissioned music and/or licensed songs. SF places music in film, television, commercials and new media. The commercial music industry trend is to license a piece of music rather than have a custom track created in which case, SF acts as a music supervisors to help those clients find the music they're looking for.

SOUND FOUNDATION is currently looking to expand its roster and represent new independent artists and bands. Basically, this means that if selected, your music will be added to a music library and will be submitted to clients should a fitting project arise.

Specifically, SOUND FOUNDATION is interested in indie rock, pop genres such as, but not limited to Peter Bjorn and John, The Fray, Snow Patrol, The Bravery, OK Go, Modest Mouse and Interpol. Male or female vocals wanted and instrumentals are ok. Great performances and writing are essential. All lyrical themes are ok but songs with profanity will not be selected. Songs must be broadcast quality (excellent home recordings are OK).

Some of SOUND FOUNDATION'S current and past clients include: Victoria Secret, Maybellene, and Neutragena.

All songs must be 100% original (no covers) and may not use samples from existing tracks.  If an artist song is placed, SOUND FOUNDATION will notify you and discuss a non-exclusive co-publishing deal.  If a song makes it to air SF will publish the full length song on iTunes if it's not there already.
