Based on a February 2009 survey, Soundslikecafe has over 1 million listeners per week across 1200 cafes, bookstores, wineries and restaurants nationally. Genres accepted include: Singer/Songwriter, Roots, Blues, Pop, Reggae, Adult Contemporary, Commercial Dance and Pop Rock. Sounds Like Cafe does not accept Rap, Urban, Heavy Rock, Country, Techno, Metal or music that is too heavy.

All artists who submit using Sonicbids will be seriously considered for a spot on the current Sounds Like Cafe Volume. The normal $700 AUS fee will be waived for one Sonicbids artist on each volume of Sounds Like Café.

Whether you are an Australian act or an international act looking to tour, release an album, or gain exposure within Australia, Sounds Like Cafe provides the perfect opportunity to showcase your music. Please note: Selected artists must pay a fee to be included on the CD. The following rates are per track, per volume and are in AUS dollars - prices exclude GST (TAX):

• Unsigned and independent artists - $700 per track (discounted rate - normal card rate $1200)


• Multiple Tracks - 2 tracks $100 off, 3 tracks $150 off, etc
