Sounds of Blue is an 8-year old radio show that airs twice weekly, from 6 - 9:00am on Mondays, and 9am - 1pm on Wednesdays. Submissions are being accepted for potential airplay as well as on-air interviews.



The show is broadcast on WFDU-FM, 89.1, which transmits to the NYC metro area and also on the Internet via stream from the station’s website , as well as on Live365.com, where Sounds of Blue is the third most listened to blues station, as well as in the top 200 overall. That means that over 100,000 people are listening to the show.



The show features rocking, guitar-driven blues, classic rock, jam bands, soul, funk, and jazz. Additionally, host Bob Putignano will translate many of the on-air interviews into featured articles in various publications he writes for including Blueswax.com, which is read by over 100,000 people.
