Southbound Festival 2008

Southbound Festival, Western Australia's leading Music, Camping and Arts Festival is looking for performers to be included in the 2008 festival held in Busselton, from the 4th - 6th January 2008. A minimum of 1 performance slot is reserved exclusively for a Sonicbids artist.



Sunset Events is one of WA’s most prominent and progressive events companies, specialising in outdoor music events at niche locations in WA since 1998. The Southbound Festival attracts high profile international, national and local musicians, and incorporates on-site camping, arts projects, environmental projects, community themes, healing centre, market and food stalls. This year, an audience of 20,000 people is expected.



Over 30 international, interstate and local acts across all genres will be performing on 5+ stages over 2 venues. Previous artists to perform at Southbound include Basement Jaxx, Wolfmother, John Butler Trio, Michael Franti & Spearhead, Modest Mouse, Hilltop Hoods, The Dandy Warhols, Hoodoo Gurus, Ian Brown (The Stone Roses), The Shins, Xavier Rudd, Ozomatli, The Sleepy Jackson, Eskimo Joe and many more.



Live music performances are held in the Campers only entertainment area on Friday 4th January.
