Selected artist(s) will be paid $400, offered camping at the festival, backline and festival rider will be supplied.
Sunset Events is one of WAs most prominent and progressive events companies, specialising in outdoor music events at niche locations in WA. The Southbound Festival attracts high profile international, national and local musicians, and incorporates on-site camping, arts projects, environmental projects, community themes, healing centre, market and food stalls. In 2011, an audience of 25,000 people is expected.
Over 60 international, interstate and local acts across all genres will be performing on 5+ stages over 3 days. Past performers include the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Moby, Hilltop Hoods, Grizzly Bear, Xavier Rudd, Rodrigo y Gabriella, Editors, The Temper Trap, Sarah Blasko, Midnight Juggernauts, Little Birdy, Major Lazer (Sound System), Seasick Steve, Emiliana Torrini, White Rabbits, Chairlift, Art vs Science, Yves Klein Blue, Urthboy, Liam Finn, Andrew Bird, Lisa Mitchell, Lyrics Born, The View, Future Of The Left, Kaki King, Patrick Watson, King Khan & The Shrines, DJ Yoda, Philadelphia Grand Jury plus many more to be announced.
