Special Commemorative Edition August 1, 2007!
In its August edition, Southern Fried Magazine is commemorating 2 momentous events: the passing of the founder of the Marshal Tucker Band: George McCorkle, and the 30 year anniversary of the Leonard Skinnard plane crash. If you’d like to be part of this important issue, submit your EPK today!

“Southern Fried Magazine has done interviews or featured the following Southern artists: Ray Sawyer of Dr. Hook, Michael Cartellone of Lynyrd Skynyrd, George McCorkle of The Marshall Tucker Band, Greg T. Walker of Blackfoot, William A. King of The Commodores, Jimmie Van Zant and many others. Southern Fried expects a million + readership this year and they are very confident that they will not only have a strong baby boomer following, but are also aggressively targeting college students. Also, unlike many other magazines, they are featuring articles that will appeal to both men and women. Southern Fried is now taking submissions from Sonicbids artists to have their albums (and possibly live shows) reviewed and featured in the magazine.

The staff at the magazine have had national exposure through "Burden of Proof", "Politically Incorrect with Bill Maher", and just this year, the "Dr. Phil Show". They have written for many other magazines, including: Bankrate.com, Military Money, Gritz, Marquee (TN/NC/VA), Wonderful West Virginia, and Salon.com.The award-winning writers, as well as the art editor, are all experts in the music business. They have contacts with some of the most famous people in music and the most interesting newcomers. The in-depth interviews delve where other publications never have.

Please note: Southern Fried is interested in Southern artists. Please take this into consideration and contact the promoter with any questions before submitting.
