In 2005, over 12,000 independent music fans, artists, executives and industry are expected to retreat to the charming and scenic town (population only 500!) for the 3-day event featuring over one hundred (100+) of the very best independent bands from across the USA. There are more than 100 performance opportunities available – 50 of which are reserved for Sonicbids artists.

And, as the premier Music Industry Retreat in the country, the South Park Music Festival creates a vacation-like atmosphere with all the talent and networking of a major music conference! This year’s event will be held September 8-10, 2005 in South Park, Colorado. The festival features an ALL Independent line-up of the finest independent artists from across the USA! Truly a Nationwide showcase event, L.A. Grammy-nominated artists to New York soul divas to Midwest Top 40 Americana artists to Denver Hip Hop artists have all converged for powerful and memorial performances at the South Park Music Festival.



In addition to all the great music showcases -- industry, artists and sponsors will bond and learn from each other through an exclusive series of fun-filled activities. All selected performing artists will receive passes to the exclusive industry retreat ($500 value per person) where they will experience intimate networking and learning opportunities with music industry leaders and other musicians during Ranch Trips, BBQs, Down Home Discussions, Industry Meet & Greats, VIP Parties and more.



In addition, at least 30 selected artists will also be chosen for the Double-CD South Park Music Festival Compilation. Submitting artists will also be eligible to perform at the South Park Music Festival stage at the 2005 Midwest Music Summit in conjunction with Summer NAMM.



The Festival is open to all genres of music including: Indie Rock, Goth, Jazz, Metal, Singer/Songwriter, Blues, Rock, Pop, Hip Hop, R&B, Folk, Americana, Acoustic, Instrumental, Jam, Electronic, etc. Submissions are only open to Independent artists and artists on Independent labels.
