Continuing to stay ahead of the constantly-evolving music landscape, SPIN Earth is a new way to view the world of music and the cultures surrounding it.

SPIN Earth's premise at the outset was simple and by no means novel: Music is EVERYWHERE. Music comes in all different forms and fashions, and comes from all different places: locally, internationally, globally.

Accordingly, SPIN Earth has positioned more than 600 correspondents in 70 major cities spanning all continents. Each correspondent offers a unique insight into the local music scene, allows a new voice to be heard, and reveals a fresh look at the local culture. The goal is to cover 400-500 weekly shows: 20,000 to 25,000 shows a year from all corners of the planet, from all perspectives, together offering a never-before-possible view of the people in our world through their own eyes.

SPIN Earth will help local bands, regional promoters and international artists publicize their shows, events, and happenings, and sell their recordings and merchandise.

By submitting, SPIN Earth's local staff will consider your EPK for potential editorial coverage on SPIN Earth. If selected, a correspondent will to go to your show, meet your band, shoot some performance, etc., but SPIN Earth also opens it up to whatever YOU want to do – so long as it’s authentic and interesting. There have been shoots over meals, on trains, at sound checks, in cars, and many other situations.

In today’s global community, the modern music fan needs a universal resource to consume compelling and authentic information about the ever-changing global music scene from street level and in real time. SPIN Earth content celebrates the music culture and its source.
