Spirit of Detroit Music Festival

Submit to play at the inaugural Spirit of Detroit Music Festival, which will be held at the Michigan State Faigrounds on July 14-16, 2006. The Spirit Of Detroit Music Festival's expected attendance is 500,000.



What makes The Spirit of Detroit Music Festival so special is that a portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Detroit Youth Sports and Recreation Commission (www.ysrc.org), to help our youth in the City of Detroit. With the various tight budgets that affect many cities and school systems around the country, recreation for our children often suffers. We decided to be part of the solution. With your support and attendance to The Spirit of Detroit Music Festival, our Detroit area youth will benefit greatly!



We believe every child deserves a recreation center, proper and safe equipment, nice-looking team uniforms and a healthy childhood. The Spirit of Detroit Music Festival will be playing a part in making this happen.



The Spirit of Detroit Music Festival is free to the public. We will have great family entertainment, art, diverse vendors, food, and three stages of energetic musical performances! National, regional, local, and the very best independent musical artists will grace the three stages for your listening pleasures. There are sixty total performance slots for this festival.
